Prayers commencing - 1/4/09

Thank You Father, for Ashley & Jesse’s safe delivery of their healthy newborn son, Baby Jimmy, on New Year’s day. We pray for Ashley’s healing from c-section surgery. Encourage her & Jesse in their new role as parents & guide them in the raising of Jimmy in Your ways. Please provide the support & financial resources needed & bless the new grandparents too. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we praise You for answered prayers for Chris in providing new employment for him & his family. May this new job for Chris bless both him & the company. We continue to pray for Your guidance & provisions in raising their 2 sons, Christo & Blake who have muscular dystrophy, in the ways of the Lord & provide needed support throughout this difficult journey. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, thank You for continuing to sustain the life of Carla, whose been in treatment for brain cancer for 8-years. She is weakened both by the disease & the treatments, but continues to persevere & live for her husband, 2-daughters and other loved ones. She had the best Christmas season in 8 years, with the energy to participate in lots of family gatherings & visits with friends, both new & old. Thank You for blessing her & sustaining their faith in You for their provisions. We are encouraged by her bravery, in the face of having only “35%” of the strength she used to have before diagnosis. Bring renewed strength & energy to her & continue to comfort & encourage Carla and her family. And utterly bring healing to this woman, who loves You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we thank You Christopher’s sister has a new job that helps their family out financially. We continue to pray for comfort for this family, who grieves the loss of their grandmother. Please provide for this family, and as Christopher asks, for all the other families struggling financially with the current global economic crisis. Bring them all safely through & may they praise You in the process. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for comfort for Maria, her grandmother and their family, who are grieving the recent loss of her grandfather. There is great conflict within the family and we pray for comfort with the unanswered questions Maria has regarding her grandfather’s salvation. We pray with Maria for her whole family for salvation, deliverance, restoration, peace, love and joy, and especially for Your protection & provisions for her grandmother in this difficult time. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we pray for Sue’s mom, who is in the hospital and dying. Please comfort this mom, Sue & her family in this difficult time. We ask for Your healing touch, guidance of her medical staff in her care, the support and provisions for all that is needed at this time. May all go according to Your Will. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for young Savannah, who is hospitalized while doctors are trying to properly diagnose & treat her for a bowel disorder. Please provide correct diagnosis & effective treatment soon and comfort her & her family. Please heal her. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we pray for a very dangerous situation along the border of India & Pakistan. We are hearing that Indian soldiers in the Punjab area are telling villagers that they must leave their homes and go east. Many churches are in Punjab. May God’s Hand bring restraint of violence to these areas & use this situation to draw His church closer to God & bring the unbelievers into a place of openness to Him. Please provide protection & provisions for Your people. Keep them safe, show them what to do & keep them in Your perfect peace. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for Marsha’s mom, who just suffered a massive stroke & is hospitalized, unable to eat. Marsha & her mom have faith in the Lord, so they are depending on You. Please guide the medical team and heal & comfort this mom, Marsha & their family at this difficult time. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we ask for Your healing upon Roy, who was just diagnosed with a brain lesion & suffers from an anxiety disorder & difficulty processing information. Please guide his medical team in treating him & restore Roy’s health, who believes in You & understands the power of prayer. We pray for healing for his wife, who suffered a stroke. Thank You that she is now home & doing much better. May he and his wife experience Your comfort, peace & the joy of the Lord. Strengthen & bless their marriage. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for Terre's friend, Amy, who was just diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer. Amy, the mom of a 2-yr old, will have surgery soon. We pray the surgery is successful & for Amy’s health to be restored & cancer-free soon. Comfort & guide Amy, her family & friends as they walk this journey together. Help Amy to keep her positive attitude, find restored health & a stronger faith and provide the care needed for her child while Amy is in treatment. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we pray for Your comfort for Arlis, her adult siblings and family in the recent loss of their mother. Please provide Your comfort, peace and support in this difficult time, as they process this loss. They do rejoice in knowing that their mother is at peace with the Lord. Thank You for that understanding. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for Candice, who was just diagnosed with hypoglycemia, a low-blood sugar condition. Help her to manage this condition with proper nutrition, exercise and healthy lifestyle. Guide her in her decisions, may they be according to Your Will for her. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we pray for Nana Rita, who at age 90 fell and was hospitalized with high blood pressure and a UTI infection was found, causing her much pain & discomfort. We pray for her healing as she is now in a rehabilitation facility for physical therapy & other supportive services. Please comfort Nana Rita & her family, as they seek God’s direction for her care. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for Pastor Carl, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer & after further tests will discuss treatment with his doctors. Pastor Carl is looking to You for confirmation on how to proceed, whether with treatment or not. Please guide & comfort Carl & his wife, as they trust in You for everything. We pray for Your Will and clear direction for them. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we pray for Your guidance & provisions for Friday Study Ministries, Pastor Ron & Genevieve, as they continue serving You through Friday Study Ministries internet church & the other outreaches they participate in. We praise Your Holy Name for all Your blessings. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we pray for Tamara’s 3 yr old son, Joshua, who will have tonsil & adenoid surgery on Jan 26th. Please comfort this mother, who is anxious about this surgery for her son, even though she needed the same surgery when she was a child. Comfort both of them, guide the medical team and cause this surgery to heal Joshua of his difficult health conditions. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for Walter in his search for a job that provides the best environment, income & other benefits for his family’s needs. He is waiting for a decision after an interview and we pray for God’s great favor upon Walter with the decision makers in the Windham School District human resources department. May all be according to Your Will. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Rev. Dan’s ministry in Kenya. Please provide Bibles and everything needed to minister in Your name to those in need. We pray for protection, peace and renewed hope for Rev. Dan and his people. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Bernard and his ministry in Kenya. Please provide a worship place for them to protect them from the climate, as well as Bibles in their local language. They need food and clothing for the orphans & the poor in their fellowship. Please touch the hearts & minds of those who hear of these needs, to reach out & help provide what is needed. Keep them in holiness, peace and the love of God which is in Christ Jesus. In His Name. Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for Cynthia, who just started chemotherapy. Please help her through these treatments & protect her from negative side-effects. Please bring healing into her body & her life. Restore this woman, who loves You. Comfort her & her family and provide all they need. Bring them peace & renewed confidence in You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Cheryl’s friend, who has Lou Gehrig’s disease. We ask for reduced symptoms, renewed health & the comfort of God. Heal & help Cheryl’s friend. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for little Diego’s family, as they grieve the recent loss of 4-year old Diego from cancer. Please comfort his parents, grandparents, 2-year old sister, their extended family & friends & provide the support this family needs at this very difficult time. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Sandy’s special request for Jana, a Christian singer, to attend this pre-school teacher’s class graduation ceremony. If it be Your Will, please have Jana contact Sandy with the possibility of attending. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for healing for Mike, who has experienced combat-stress issues for the past two years, since his 18-month military combat service overseas. He continues to be under stress from working a full-time civilian job & has an important part-time reservist job, while trying to fulfill his family’s needs. Please guide him through his counseling to find healing for himself and his marriage of 32 years. Comfort and encourage his wife and family, as they trust in You for their healing & restoration. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for Michael’s health. We pray for mental & emotional stability. Please heal Michael and help him to find Your peace. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for Troy, a Georgia death row inmate, awaiting appeal in a case for a crime that he did not commit. Bring Troy to a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ & let him know freedom in every good & perfect way. We pray for Your Will for Troy. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Don, whose eyesight is lessening from macular degeneration. Please guide him & protect him as this is scary for him and Diane. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for Cheryl, who is still dealing with legal, financial & family issues in relation to her Dad’s death. Please cause the life insurance to be paid & for all these issues to find resolution soon. Continue to heal & strengthen Cheryl physically, emotionally & spiritually, as she desires to be a godly example throughout this difficult journey. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for Dennis, who is waiting for a medical decision for a baclofen pump implant that could better control his spasticity & pain problems. We pray for Your Will & guidance for Dennis & his doctors with these issues. Please ease his pain & give him the joy of the Lord. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for Faye’s cousin, Shirley, who is on the list for a liver transplant. Please heal & restore Shirley. Comfort her & her family, as we pray for Your Will. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Johnny, who was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis, an autoimmune neuromuscular disorder, causing loss of work during treatment this past year. We pray his health & strength will be restored & he can return to work soon. Please provide for Johnny & his family during this difficult time, as they trust in You for everything. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for Donna’s mother-in-law Julie, who has COPD, an irregular heart beat & blood pressure problems. We pray for Your healing touch to be upon Julie; be with her medical team & give them wisdom in her care. Please comfort & guide Julie & her family. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for Sandy, who is recovering from hysterectomy surgery. We pray for complete recovery without complications. Be with Sandy & restore her health. Comfort her & her family & provide for all their needs, as they trust in You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Lynda’s daughter, Deanna, who is suffering terribly from a herniated disc for several months. We pray for Your wisdom & guidance for her doctors regarding her treatment. Please go to the source of her pain and heal her, Father. Comfort Deanna and her family, lift their spirits and bring Deanna restored health. Also, we pray for Your provisions for her family, as their business is suffering from the financial crisis. Lord, we continue to pray for Pat, who has a rare form of cancer & the latest attempt to treat him is a bone marrow transplant. We pray that You will sustain Pat and the transplant will be successful. Protect and strengthen him for this journey; we boldly ask for healing & restoration for Pat. Comfort him & his family. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for healing & strength for Jeff, as he recovers from heart surgery two months ago. He is due to return to work this week and we praise You for the successful surgery & his progress thus far. Cause Jeff to trust & grow in faith in You and praise You for Your provisions and blessings for him. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father, we continue to pray for Glo, who is recovering from several surgeries on her elbow & her leg from a fall in October. After surgery, she had a heart attack & needs additional surgery for arterial blockages, when she has recovered sufficiently from the current injuries. Please cause her rehab recovery to restore her mobility, where she is working hard in therapy. If she does not know the Lord, please bring her completely to faith in Jesus Christ. Comfort & provide Your strength for Glo & her family in this difficult time, especially her exhausted husband, Neil. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Lord, we continue to pray for healing & restoration for Mona, who is in treatment for esophageal cancer. Guide her medical team in her care, according to Your Will. We pray her husband, Don, will find faith in the Lord through all this and that Mona will be healed. Comfort everyone involved & provide for their every need. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father God, we continue to pray for Jeff, who is in treatment for metastasized colon cancer. Be with him throughout the chemotherapy treatments. Please completely restore Jeff’s health, comfort him, his wife, Eileen, & their daughters, Amber & Brittany, as they trust in You. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Almighty God, we continue to pray for all who are in harm’s way in the military, including Kenny & his troops, Daniel & his unit, Steven, Zane, Andy, Matthew, Zach, Christopher, Chris, Carl, Brooke, Frank, John, Eric, Mike, David, Brent & Robert. Give these men & women the strength they need, protect them, may they serve with honor. Please bring them safely home to their families. Comfort all in their time of separation.
